How'd you get into Hetalia and who are your favourite character(s)?

I got into Hetalia mainly because of deviantArt and curiosity. I've seen plenty of fan art on the site to make me curious enough to try watching it. At first it was kind of confusing and I couldn't really keep up with the first episode so I had to pause it to read some of the dialogue. As I progressed through the first season, I absolutely fell in love with it.

At first, my favorite character was either Russia or England because they came off as.. interesting. As time passed though, my favorite character became America because I got intrigued with his character and I love every moment of his screen time. I also love how America's seiyuu voiced Haji from Blood +, another favorite anime of mine.

I really love all the characters. I don't even hate a single one! Other characters that are close to my favorites are England, Seychelles, Canada, and France.

Ooh~ Russia was also my favourite character at first. He is a very popular character it seems xD;;
And I don't hate any of the character either, it bugs me when people say they dislike one because a part of me feels it's slightly racist (even though the anime personification =/= country it still slightly bothers me in that way.) Lately I've been seeing a lot of hate on Hungary/Belgium/Liechtenstein because they get in the way of PruAus/Spamano/Auswis (or whatever Austria/Switzerland is), which bothers me A LOT. As much as I love my otp, Spamano, I do like Orange Waffle~ (Spain/Belgium~). So yeah.All the charactes are just so loveable imo ;;

My friend kept on bugging me to watch Hetalia, so one day I've decided to sit down and watch it slowly. In the end I caught up with the present episode in one sitting.. orz (Well, it's just 5 minutes per episode!)

My favourites are Prussia, England, the Axis, China and just basically everyone. (In no order, unlike Lovino). Eh, I didn't really like America, he's too loud. Ukraine's first appearance to me is also weird too, the sound of her entering in (hanging around and out) is kinda irritating and strange. I've got tons of Iggy's pictures and very little of America's.. On a side note, I think Carrots and sticks sung by Ukraine and Belarus is very nice! I like their voices!
I think the description of Canada is quite true! I don't really know much of it, other than the fact that it's above America in the world map. When I was young I even thought that America and Canada are a country! (With different names, that is.)

Hungary/Belgium/Liechtenstein? That's the first time I'm seeing this. I think that's the yuri part of it, like how we like the yaoi part like USUK, FRUK, GerIta, Spamano etc.
Recently I like Russia too~ Not because I just had the (music) history of it long too long ago.

If there's no one joining, I want to rp Nihon! Or just everyone else!! Someone just come join already!!! =3=

Nah, I think it had something to do with rabid yaoi fans hating on Hetero.


And if we can rp as two characters, I'd want either Russia or Greece. :T Just saying.

I just got my Hetalia 4 special edition book yesterday! ><

If we have 2 characters, wouldn't it clash since they have to interact with each other? It's weird to have a monologue..
